1. Who we are

Airport Taxi 868 provides private airport transfers between Piarco International Airport and addresses across Trinidad. We operate this website at airporttaxi868.com and we are the party responsible for the information described here.

2. When you book a transfer

This website has no booking database and no server that stores your details. The booking form does not send anything to us on its own.

When you fill in the form and press the button, your browser opens WhatsApp with a message already written out, containing the trip details you entered:

• whether you are travelling from or to the airport
• the pickup or drop-off address you typed
• the date and time
• the number of passengers
• your flight number, if you chose to give one

Nothing is sent until you press send inside WhatsApp. Up to that point the details stay on your own device. If you close WhatsApp without sending, we never receive them.

Once you send the message, we receive it as an ordinary WhatsApp chat, along with the phone number and profile name WhatsApp shows us. We use that information to quote your trip, arrange your driver, and contact you about the booking. The conversation itself is carried and stored by WhatsApp under its own terms — see section 5.

If you phone us instead, we simply have your number and whatever you tell us on the call.

3. When you just visit the website

This is a static website hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like practically every website, our host automatically processes basic technical information in order to deliver pages and keep the site secure — for example your IP address, browser type and the page you requested. This happens at the network level and is standard for web hosting.

Beyond that, the only information we collect about your visit is the analytics described next, and only in line with your choice.

4. Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people find and use the site — which pages are read, which routes are of interest, and whether people reach the booking step. This helps us improve the site. We do not run advertising or remarketing on it.

What we deliberately do not send

Our analytics is configured so that the contents of the booking form are never sent to Google. Your address, travel dates, times and flight number stay out of analytics entirely. What we record is the shape of the enquiry, not who you are or where you are going:

• that a booking message was started, and in which direction the trip runs
• the number of passengers selected, and whether a flight number was supplied
• that a WhatsApp or phone-number link was clicked, and where on the page it was
• which FAQ questions were opened

Your cookie choice

Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser. We use Google's Consent Mode, and the banner you saw on your first visit records your decision:

• If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, analytics is switched off until you choose Accept.
• Elsewhere, including Trinidad & Tobago, analytics is on by default, and choosing Decline switches it off.

Your choice is stored on your own device in your browser's local storage, under the name at868_consent. It is not sent to us and it is not a tracking identifier — it exists purely to remember what you picked so you are not asked again.

You can change your mind at any time using the Cookies control in the footer of any page, or by clearing your browser's site data.

5. Who we share information with

We do not sell your information and we do not share it for advertising. Information reaches these third parties as a normal part of running the service:

• WhatsApp / Meta — carries and stores your booking conversation. Their handling of it is governed by WhatsApp's own privacy policy, which applies to your use of the app.
• Google (Analytics) — receives the anonymous usage data described above, subject to your consent choice.
• Cloudflare — hosts the website and processes technical request data in order to serve it.
• Our drivers — receive the details needed to complete your trip: name, pickup point, destination and time.

We may also disclose information where we are legally required to.

6. How long we keep it

Booking conversations remain in our WhatsApp account so we have a record of the trip and can help with any follow-up. Analytics data is retained by Google under the retention period set on our property. Because this site has no database, there is no separate store of customer records held by the website itself.

7. Your choices and rights

You can:

• change or withdraw your cookie choice at any time, using the Cookies control in the footer
• ask us what booking information we hold about you
• ask us to delete your booking conversation
• ask us to correct anything that is wrong

Depending on where you live, you may have additional statutory rights — for example under the UK or EU GDPR if you contacted us from there. To exercise any of these, message or call us on +1 (868) 797-8851 and we will deal with it.

8. Children

This service is intended for adults making travel arrangements. We do not knowingly collect information from children. Children travel as passengers on bookings made by an adult, and we only hold whatever the booking adult chooses to tell us — for example that a child seat is needed.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be reflected here rather than notified individually.
